Aman Venice occupies Palazzo Papadopoli on the Grand Canal in San Polo: frescoed ceilings, a rare private garden and arrival by water taxi straight to the palazzo's own landing. QL House books it as a preferred partner, at the hotel's own rate with benefits added.
The palazzo was built in the 1550s and still carries its Tiepolo frescoes, gilded stucco and silk-lined salons. Two private gardens, almost unheard of in Venice, open onto the canal. The scale is intimate: around two dozen rooms and suites, so the house feels like a residence rather than a hotel, and the staff know every guest by name within the first evening.
Rooms look either onto the Grand Canal or over the garden and the rooftops of San Polo. The Alcova Tiepolo Suite sits beneath the ceiling the painter completed in the 1740s. Arva, the restaurant, serves a Venetian table under the ballroom chandeliers, and the garden terrace is the quietest place on the canal for an aperitivo.
