    Aman Tokyo takes the top six floors of the Otemachi Tower, beside the Imperial Palace gardens and a few minutes from Tokyo Station. Rooms are among the largest in the city, the spa spans two floors, and the lobby garden sits thirty metres below a washi-paper ceiling. QL House books it as a preferred partner.

    Kerry Hill designed the hotel around a single idea: a Japanese house lifted into the sky. The lobby rises through six storeys under a lantern-like ceiling, rooms use camphor wood, washi and stone, and the furo bathtubs in every room face either the palace gardens or the skyline towards Mount Fuji on a clear morning.

    The Aman Spa is the largest in Tokyo, with an indoor pool that looks out over the city, traditional onsen-style bathing and treatment rooms built around Japanese practice. Musashi by Aman seats eight at a sushi counter; Arva serves Italian cooking with Japanese produce; The Lounge by Aman is where the city's quietest afternoon tea is poured.
