Shared yacht passes, private charters and the berths that see the track. What Monaco GP 2027 yacht hospitality costs, which zone to choose and when to commit.
Key facts: Monaco Grand Prix 2027 yacht hospitality. Dates: 4–6 June 2027, round 8 of the official 2027 Formula 1 calendar, and a Sprint weekend: Sprint Qualifying on Friday 4 June, the Sprint and Grand Prix qualifying on Saturday 5 June, the race on Sunday 6 June. Venue: Circuit de Monaco, Monte Carlo; yachts berth in Port Hercule beside the track. Options: shared yacht hospitality by the day, a private yacht with a race berth for the weekend, or a yacht anchored outside the port with tender access. Indicative prices: shared yacht days from around £1,500 (€1,750) per person for race day, premium front-row yachts from around £4,000 (€4,600) per person; private charter of a 30 to 40 metre yacht with a race berth typically from £150,000 (€175,000) for the week, plus berth fees, fuel and provisioning. The Monaco Grand Prix 2027 runs 4–6 June 2027 and, for the first time, includes a Sprint race on Saturday, which makes Saturday a full racing day rather than qualifying alone. Yacht hospitality is the defining way to watch: Port Hercule sits inside the circuit, and the track runs along the quay past the swimming pool complex, so boats moored stern-to look straight onto the racing.
Shared yacht hospitality is the most accessible route. Operators sell places by the day on a yacht berthed in the port, with a viewing deck, catering, champagne and an open bar. Since 2022 Monaco runs a Friday-to-Sunday format, so the yacht days that matter are Friday, Saturday and Sunday; prices rise sharply from Friday to Saturday's Sprint and qualifying and to race day, and depend on the zone: the outer quays of the port are the most affordable, while front-row berths along the quai beside the swimming pool and Tabac corner command the highest rates.
Private yacht charter for the race weekend is a different market. A yacht with a confirmed race berth is chartered for the full week, usually Wednesday to Monday, because berths are allocated for the whole event. Weekly charter rates, the Grand Prix berth premium, fuel, provisioning and an advance provisioning allowance are all added together; the berth itself is often the scarcest and most expensive element.
Anchoring outside the port is the third option. Larger yachts that cannot get a berth anchor in the bay and run tenders to the harbour, which gives privacy and space but no direct track view; guests usually combine it with grandstand seats, a terrace or a shared yacht for race day.
Where to stay: Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo and Hôtel Hermitage overlook the circuit and sell out first, with multi-night minimum stays over the race. The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel and Fairmont Monte Carlo sit on or near the track. Cap-Ferrat, Èze and Beaulieu offer quieter stays 15 to 25 minutes away, and Nice is the realistic base for value, with a seven-minute helicopter transfer.
Booking window: private yachts with race berths and front-row shared yachts should be secured 9 to 12 months ahead; circuit-view hotel rooms 9 months ahead. Prices quoted here are indicative and move with the zone, day and yacht.
