Key facts: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026. Dates: expected Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December 2026, to be confirmed with the official Formula 1 calendar. The race is the final round of the Formula 1 season and runs as a twilight race, starting in daylight and finishing under floodlights. Access: grandstand tickets, official hospitality including the Paddock Club, and trackside yacht hospitality in Yas Marina. Booking window: 6 to 12 months ahead for yachts and the better hotels. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 is expected to run from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island, closing the Formula 1 season. It is the only twilight race on the calendar: the Grand Prix starts in late-afternoon sun and finishes under floodlights.

Because it is the final round, Abu Dhabi regularly decides the championship — and even when it does not, it carries the end-of-season atmosphere: team celebrations, the post-season parties and the last paddock of the year. Demand for hospitality is the highest of the Middle East races.

Ways to watch: grandstand tickets across the circuit's covered stands; official hospitality, from shared suites to the Paddock Club above the pit lane; and trackside yacht hospitality in Yas Marina, where the circuit passes through the marina itself — a format unique to Abu Dhabi.

Yacht hospitality is the signature of this race. Yachts berth in the marina with the track metres away, and packages combine a berth-side viewing position with catering, an open bar and the ability to step between deck and shore. Berths sell out earlier than any other category.

Where to stay: on Yas Island itself for walking distance to the circuit — the hotels on and around the island sell out first and command their highest rates of the year. The Abu Dhabi Corniche and Saadiyat Island suit a quieter stay with a 25 to 35 minute transfer. Dubai is a realistic base for those combining the race with a longer UAE trip, around an hour by car.

Booking window: yachts and Paddock Club places should be secured 9 to 12 months ahead; Yas Island hotels 6 to 9 months. The race sits at the start of the UAE's peak winter season, so hotel pressure comes from the season as much as from the race itself.
