Claridge's has stood on Brook Street since 1856 and in its present Art Deco form since the 1930s: the foyer, the fumoir, the Painter's Room and a new spa beneath the building. It is the hotel London's season is arranged around, and QL House books it as a preferred partner, at the published rate with benefits added.
The building mixes Victorian bones with the 1930s interiors by Basil Ionides and Oswald Milne, and more recent rooms by David Collins, Diane von Furstenberg and others, so no two floors feel the same. The Foyer and Reading Room serve the afternoon tea that is the city's standard; the Fumoir is the small Lalique bar for after dinner; the Painter's Room is the lighter, Mediterranean table.
Claridge's Spa opened in 2021 four floors beneath the hotel, with a pool and treatment rooms built around a cedar-and-marble calm that the street above does not suggest. The hotel runs its own programme during Frieze week and London Fashion Week, and the ballroom hosts the dinners those weeks are remembered for.
QL House holds rooms at Claridge's for Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, the Chelsea Flower Show and Frieze London, the weeks when Mayfair is full and the hotel's own waiting list is long. We arrange the cars to Ascot and SW19, the private shopping appointments on Bond Street and the tables at the Fumoir that are never available on the day.
